Dragons Conditioning Camp is scheduled on June 16 through August 15.

The Dragon Basketball Conditioning Camp is a well-rounded basketball conditioning program that utilizes different disciplines to improve overall athletic abilities like power, speed, agility, quickness, and strength. Campers will learn how to focus on cutting edge basketball drills at the proper intensity of exercise and in the correct order. This area of training is what makes our camp unique.

Camp will be held each week starting from June 16 through August 15, Monday through Friday (except for the 4th of July week which will be Monday through Thursday) from 9 am until 12 noon at CYO’s St. Emydius Gymnasium at 255 Jules Avenue, San Francisco, CA. Camp is for children entering grades 6th – 9th in the Fall 2008 except for week 5 (July 14-18) which is scheduled for younger campers entering grades 3rd – 5th. Morning care is provided at no additional charge. You can sign in your kids as early as 7:30 am and pick them up as late as 12:30 pm. Please send adequate fluids for your child(ren) to use during camp.

Dragons Skills Camp is scheduled on June 16 through August 15.

All weeks still have limited space. Please contact us prior to registering to ensure enrollment.

The Dragon Basketball Skills Camp is a series of week long camps concentrating on a specific skill: shooting, defense, guard and post. The first four weeks teaches the fundamentals of each skill, one skill each week. Everyone will learn even if they have played in a team before. The goal is to enable campers to be successful through repetitive practice, being able to evaluate themselves and setting a goal for improvement.

The second set of weeks will enable campers to challenge their fundamental skills with more advanced drills. The focus of the 2nd week series is to challenge campers who already have fundamental skills and incorporate speed and accuracy as well as game play into the drills. These are the weeks where campers should learn to focus the skills toward using them on game day.

Campers will learn how to focus on cutting edge basketball drills at the proper intensity of exercise and in the correct order. This area of training is what makes our skills camp unique.
